About Atlanta:
Atlanta is home to Martin Luther King, Jr., Coca-Cola, CNN, the Hartsfield – Jackson Atlanta International Airport (the world's busiest airport), the only Six Flags location in
southeast US, the College Football Hall of Fame, and was the host of the 1996 Summer Olympics. We'll also visit Stone Mountain, the world's largest single granite rock, with the Confederate Memorial Carving depicting three Confederate leaders of the Civil War, President Jefferson Davis and Generals Robert E. Lee and Thomas J. "Stonewall" Jackson on the side of it.

Arrival:
Those who arrive from out-of-town must be at IFM's headquarters at 610 Pickens St. in Columbia, SC by 8:00 AM on the first day of the tour. Those who wish to meet us in Atlanta must make suitable arrangements with IFM at least one week (7 days) before the first day of the tour. Contact IFM at info@ifmusa.org or by calling 803-799-3452.

8:30 AM - Depart IFM

12:30 PM - Stone Mountain Park, one of the 1996 Olympic sites. There is a sky-lift to the top of the massive granite rock with a giant carving of the Confederate (Southern) leaders in the Civil War. Visit Jimmy Carter Library, MLK Memorial, and downtown Atlanta.

2:30 PM - Drive to downtown Atlanta (purchase your lunch).

3:00 PM - Downtown Atlanta. Options include:

Peachtree Plaza (72nd floor observation deck )

Olympic Park and CNN

Georgia Aquarium

World of Coca-Cola - a fun museum about the world’s favorite drink, and a chance to taste many flavors.

Be certain to purchase your supper before we leave at 6:45 p.m.
