About St. Matthews:
The people of St. Matthews Parish Church, about 45 minutes from Columbia, WELCOME you to spend Saturday afternoon and Sunday morning with them, to enjoy their beautiful lakes (boat-ing and fishing, but no swimming) and gardens, amidst woods and fields in ‘plantation’ country.
You will not only enjoy being in a Nature setting, but also experience Southern hospitality and culture, including food and learning to “Shag” (folk dance).
On Sunday morning you will have a worship experience at the St. Matthews Parish Church (250 years old) that includes a traditional Episcopal (Anglican) liturgical service. Your host family will guide you through short readings of the Bible and the Book of Common Prayer.
This Tour only costs $10 and is a unique opportunity limited to the first 20 new international students who turn in their registration form and pay (please do not delay registering or you may not be among the first 20 who do register). (If you must change your plans after you register, you must let IFM know by October 6th, so that others who may be on a waiting list can take your place, but we hope you will not change your plans).

1:00 pm Leave IFM office, Transportation provided by IFM

2:00 pm Enjoy lakes, fishing, gardens, small airplane rides, etc

5:30 pm Dinner and dancing

9:00 pm Go home with Host family
Sunday: Breakfast with host Family

10:30 am Service at St Matthews Parish Church

12:00 pm Lunch and pictures, afterwards return to IFM office
