About Atlanta:
Atlanta is home to Martin Luther King, Jr., Coca-Cola, CNN, the world's busiest airport (Hartsfield – Jackson),
and was the host of the 1996 Summer Olympics.
During our short trip, we'll visit several attractions, including famous Stone Mountain, the world's largest single granite rock, with the Confederate Memorial Carving depicting three Confederate leaders of the Civil War.

Arrival:
Those who wish to meet us in Atlanta must make suitable arrangements with IFM at least one week (7 days) before the first day of the tour. Registration fee required. Contact IFM at info@ifmusa.org or by calling 803-799-3452.

9:00 AM - Leave Columbia

1:00 PM - drive through Stone Mountain Park, one of the 1996 Olympic sites. Visit Jimmy Carter Library, MLK Memorial, and downtown Atlanta.

Evening - Drive to meet host families at the local church. Spend the evening with them.
Sunday, May 28

9:00 AM - Attend the morning Church service at Local Church

11:00 AM - Drive to downtown Atlanta (purchase your lunch).

11:30 AM - Free Time in Downtown Atlanta. Options include:

World of Coca-Cola - a fun museum about the world’s favorite drink, and a chance to taste many flavors.

10:00 AM - Depart for Columbia. The group heading to Columbia, SC will stop at the DeKalb International Farmers' Market.
